How do couriers and drivers get paid?

Couriers receive 100% of the agreed delivery fee directly to their in-app wallet immediately when the customer provides the 6-digit delivery PIN. Drivers receive daily automated payouts for shared seat rides.

How does the 6-Digit Escrow PIN protect my food?

When you order from a local kitchen, funds stay locked in Escrow. Your private 6-digit PIN is only given to the dispatch rider when your food is handed over hot and intact.

What is Goridar?

Goridar is a multi-modal African platform powering three core services: Shared Commute Rides (cost-sharing along busy transit corridors), Express Parcel Dispatch (point-to-point courier delivery), and Local Food Delivery (fresh neighbourhood delicacies backed by bank-grade 6-digit Escrow).

How does Goridar Food Delivery work?

1. Browse & Pick: Select meals from verified neighbourhood restaurants and kitchens.
2. Bargain Courier Fee: Scan nearby active couriers and accept or counter-offer fair delivery fees with quick -10%, -15%, -20% presets.
3. Escrow Lock: Food and courier funds are held safely in Goridar Escrow. You receive an instant private 6-digit PIN.
4. Release on Arrival: Once your hot food is verified at your doorstep, share the PIN with the rider to release payment.

How do I become a Delivery Agent or Courier?

Anyone with a functional mode of transport can join our delivery fleet. Visit our Waitlist page, select Delivery Agent, choose your delivery vehicle type, and submit your contact details. Local Agent Hubs assist with identity verification, safety kits, and onboarding within 24–48 hours.

What transport modes can Delivery Agents use?

Goridar supports 10 multi-modal delivery options: Motorcycle / Dispatch Bike, Bicycle, Electric Scooter / E-Bike, Tricycle (Keke Napep), Sedan / Saloon Car, Mini Bus / Korope, Pickup Truck, Cargo Van, Box Truck, and Pedestrian (Walking Courier) for ultra-local food runs.

How much do Delivery Couriers earn?

Delivery riders keep 100% of their agreed delivery fees. There are zero surprise deductions or middleman commissions taken from courier fees. With high-density corridors, riders completing 15–22 drops a day can earn between ₦180,000 to ₦350,000+ monthly with instant wallet withdrawal.

How can restaurants and food vendors join?

Verified neighbourhood restaurants, cloud kitchens, and caterers can onboard through our Agent Hub network or email support@goridar.com.ng. There are zero upfront listing fees, and orders are protected by our Escrow payment system.

How do I become a carpool driver?

Sign up, verify your identity, add your vehicle and daily route, set available seats and pricing, then publish your commute to start matching passengers.

Is Goridar safe?

Yes. All drivers and delivery couriers undergo identity verification. Trips and parcel deliveries feature live telemetry tracking, in-app emergency SOS, and 6-digit Escrow PIN confirmation.

What if an order or ride is canceled?

Our automated cancellation and refund policy protects both parties. If a courier fails to pick up or a ride is canceled before cutoff, your Escrow funds are refunded to your in-app wallet immediately.
